Purpose of Education
The aim of this course is to improve the knowledge and skills of health service providers in pre-hospital and health institutions for patients with cardiac and/or respiratory arrest based on current practices, performing quality and effective Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) together with algorithmic approach.
Definitions:
Cardiopulmonerresuscitation:
In cardiac arrest; with the aim of maintaining effective circulation and respiration until the underlying cause is reversed;
- Initial evaluation
- Chest compression
- Airway clearance
- It is the application that covers ventilation.
The aim of cardiopulmonary and cerebralresuscitation is to temporarily ensure effective circulation of vital organs such as the brain and heart with oxygenated blood until spontaneous cardiac activity is achieved.
Emergency cardiovascular care:
It is the evaluation and treatment of sudden and often life-threatening or potentially life-threatening conditions related to the cardiovascular and pulmonary system within the scope of basic and advanced life support. ACD also includes an understanding of the nature of immediate cardiovascular problems, close monitoring of patients, initiation of basic and advanced life support as early as possible, prevention of complications, appropriate treatment of patients, relieving patients and transferring the patient to the most appropriate health institution for permanent treatment.
